XDJ-100mk2 doesnt always load Hot Cues

Recently picked up a pair of XDJ100mk2 and i use them with the DDJ-XP1 controller.

the behaviour of loading hotcues seems to be very erratic.  If i do instand doubles only the first track will have loaded the hot cues. i can see them on the waveform for the track but they dont appear on controller or perform screen.

I've done lots of searching online and adjustment of settings but this really has me confused.

I'm experiencing other strange issues with loading hotcues, i can add them but they dont show up on perform etc.

none of this happened with rekordbox DJ and a DVS system

latest firmware,

any help appreciated

When the track is loaded by a "performance" mode, it will skip over any settings which may cause the player not to load the track and begin playback immediately. These methods include instant doubles, track skip (the >| button) and keyword search. If you were to load by other browsing methods those hot cues would load up.

Thanks Pulse

this is helpful.

its a shame because it prevents some doubles routines where i use hot cues.

can you explain why after loading through instant doubles it then never loads any more hot cues regarless of how i load?

for instance i did instand doubles, then went and got the track by name search but it didn bring up the hot cues for me.

I'm also having similar issue where hot cues from previous tracks stay and dont get replaced by new ones which is pretty lethal.  I followed a previous thread on this and see some instances where theres a cool application for this but my problem is i cant clear them now,

any help appreciated. the manual is thorough but open to interpretation

If you loaded via instant doubles, the only way to load them is through the CALL function.

And believe it or not, having a hot cue bank linking different tracks can actually be an amazing performance feature -- although having them remain there inadvertently can cause a disaster. ;) Sorry, there's no way to easily clear them.
