FollowRekordbox to CDJ 2000 player settings quaetions
Sorry if this is a bit anal but I come from the Serato world. I have to do a tour and the venues are all CDJ2000NXS2's
I just got one CDJ 2000 NXS and one CDJ 2000NXS2.
Now, I have Rekordbox and I bought RekordBuddy 2.0 so I can save all my cue points and loops in Rekordbox. I haven't even gone into that as I'm just going easy for now as I'm taking ONE track and doing the following:
Import the track into Rekordbox, even though the track was analysed in Serato I re analized in RB.
First thing I want to do is to cue the track where I want it to start from and I'm a bit mixed up between memory and cue point, so in Rekordbox I go to GRID MODE and set the first beat to the grid position. SO when I hit CUE on the rekordbox arrow it starts there. Then I added three cue points in different parts of the track if I need to go there on the fly or to loop out of. Now when I export the track on to a stick and plug into one of my cdj's I get the message My Settings were found, so I l load the settings to the player.
Heres where I get mixed up, when I load the track the markers go firdt to the memory then the three cue points real quick THEN the track plays from the memory point at the top.
But if I stop the track and try to go back to the memory point the only way is to hit the Cue Loop call left button and THEN the track stops at the memory point.
Can't I have the track load and automatically STOP at the first memory point WITHOUT PLAYING?
I would have thought the search or track search would have done that.
Any help, a video maybe?
