DJM 250 MK2 + Traktor DVS

Hi, I am planning about buying a DJM 250 mk2 mixer, but I have a question about this mixer.

If I use it with Traktor DVS, does gain control of mixer works with USB input or with phono input?

When the channel source is the USB, the gain will affect the output signal from the software -- the timecode signal is passed directly to the software as an input on the channel without any gain control necessary.
