Have you tried switching the audio device to the DDJ-400 in the rekordbox audio preferences?
Yes. No luck. There isn't a driver for the 400 correct?
No. Does the DDJ-400 appear within your USB hardware list if you go to the Apple icon (top left of your screen) > About This Mac > System Report... and then click on the USB item on the left?
Yes, it's there.
And if you open the Audio MIDI Setup app and go to the Audio Devices window, is it listed on the left?
Yes, its there too.
But it's not available as an option in the drop down here?

When I press play, the channel levels are at zero. I'm guessing they should light up? (I'm extremely new to DJing)

HAHAHAHA OMG MY CHANNEL VOLUMES WERE ALL THE WAY DOWN
I'm an idiot. Sorry for wasting your time.
lol - no worries, at least you learned a bit about troubleshooting! ;)
Glad you got it working, enjoy!
Hello I don't know if you can help me I have exactly the same problem than the person before but I checked the channel volumes and I follow all of the steps with the Audio MIDI Set up and the Rekordbox preferences and they look correct but I am not avaliable to hear by the speakers or the headphones! I have a controller DDJ 400 and a Numark N-Wave 360 and a headphones idjnow HF125. I attach some pictures because everything look correct but I can see where the problem is! Thank you very much!
