Make sure your device is formatted with FAT32. Is the new USB device also 32 GB? If so, if it's on the wrong side, if only by a few bytes, (too large), it won't be possible to format the USB device correct from a PC, because it will suggest only eFat or NTFS. eFat, at least before, could be read as an OK USB device by RB, and you could export just fine, but of course, in the players nothing would show. In that case, the small freeware guiformat.exe saves the day. Google it, dl to desktop and run it. No install needed.
If that is not the problem there may be a problem with how that new USB device fits in the port of the player. Not very common, but it's the only time I've ever had a problem with a USB-device that otherwise works perfect everywhere else.
