Unplugging DJM 900 NXS2 crashes 2016 Macbook Pro chaser

 nothing much being said as per https://forums.pioneerdj.com/hc/en-us/community/posts/360009355063-Unplugging-DJM-900-NXS2-crashes-2016-Macbook-Pro with no further comments being allowed.

 

basically this is getting v annoying, with constant fear of crashes at gigs, chip chop pioneer.

Which driver / firmware version for the DJM?

thank you for the reply,  for reference no issue at all with late 2013 iMac running Mojave 10.14.2.  issue is with MacBook Pro 2017 with Touch Bar with Mojave 10.14.2.  software - setting utility 2.0.2, driver 2.0.1 and Framework version 2.0.0.  the mixer has 2.05 firmware.  what happens - if you turn off the mixer you cannot  turn it back on and have the computer recognise it - you need to restart the computer.  also when you reset the computer, the computer crashes and you have to complete a forced restart.

as an addendum, say you are in the state that the mbp has had the pioneer mixer turned off and needs re-setting, should the laptop go to sleep, it will then will also need a force reset to wake up.
