Hey all, losing my damn mind here and need some help. I've already scoured the web for similar posts but my situation seems a bit different.
I'm using a friend's old Pioneer DDJ-S1 on Rekordbox, just started 30-day trial for Rekordbox DJ to use the Performance mode.
I'll keep it simple:
Rekordbox detects the controller as MIDI (under Control Device Information it is listed there)
The ASIO drivers from the DDJ-S1 work perfectly fine
When I turn the controller on, lighting and stuff happens as normal
I'm using USB bus only for power, laptop is connected to power source though and no issues powering the controller
All of this within Performance mode, ofc
So basically Rekordbox detects my controller fully, but it doesn't work at all within the software. I've tried resetting to default settings on everything to no avail.
What's going on? How do I fix this?
Sorry, but while the DDJ-S1 is a Pioneer DJ product, it is not a supported hardware controller. You may find you can MIDI map all of the buttons and knobs, but the jogs will not operate as that is a reserved function.
