When you copied everything to the new drive, did you also copy the hidden folders?
Is the drive using the same volume name and folder structure as previously?
Hi everyone.
I'm playing on CDJs 900 nexus, and I read my music from external HDD. Last week my HDD broke down, I could not read HDD on CDJ, but on laptop works fine.
I bought new HDD (Samsung Portable SSD as I saw that one is recomended here from staff of Pioneer). I copied every file from old HDD to new HDD. And here's my problems starts.
After connecting my new HDD I can play all playlists, all tracks, everything works fine, but not every track have waveforms and that ones have not cue points. Waveforms are less important cause i don't need to play, but hot cues are very useful, and with it my workflow are smooth, you know ;)
How can I restore these hot cues and waveforms from old HDD? I have to add that I don't have all music on my laptop (i started playing with Pioneer long time ago, and I used a few computers, laptops...). In rekordbox I can only ,,download'' cue points from old HDD to my laptop, but i can't transfer it to my new HDD.
I looked very accurate to filelist on HDD (hidden folders, and files too) & didn't miss any one.
Please help me, I haven't enough time to re-build my playlists manually, because weekend starts tommorrow.
Greetings,
Charis

Yes, I copied everything, and yes, drive have the same name, structure of folders, everythings looks 'cloned', but didn't work as I wish ;)
Missing waveform and cue data is typically because those files are not on the drive, but the song is.
Just to confirm ... the songs aren't loading the waveform or cue data from the new drive when connecting to either the computer or the CDJ?
Yes, exactly as you write.
Waveforms are not the problems, the cue points are... Thats one of the best feature of nexus players for me.
