You can connect devices over WiFi. If you've tried it and not had success, it could be your firewall isn't configured properly, or that your router is blocking the ports used, filtering the data, or not providing a bridge between the wireless and wired networks for that communication.
And the speed is not an issue - 100Mbit provides more than enough bandwidth. A single 24bit/96kHz WAV audio stream requires 4608kbits/s, so even if you considered a rekordbox link providing four streams to CDJs plus one to a DJM (for link monitor), it would only require 23040kbits, or 23Mbits/s, well below any padding or "real world" maximums of a 100Mbit system.
