12) Provide as much detail of the issue here:
I own a pair of cdj2000nxs2.
When I connect them to my PC and try to play via rekordbox in "export" mode, I get an error:
Media File Is Collapsed Or Unavailable
E-8302: CANNOT PLAY TRACK (C658)
This error appears with every track I try to select.
I've installed all the necessary drivers along with the latest rekordbox update and performed a firmware update on both decks without any results.
At first, the issue wasn't persistent, i.e., I could've played a few tracks before this message appeared. It also wasn't present on both decks at once - it could appear on one deck but the second one was still able to play tracks via rekordbox (not for long though - a couple of tracks more and this error appeared on the second deck as well).
However, after a while the error message started to appear right after I connect my decks to rekordbox. Which didn't make much difference since being able to play only 3-4 tracks is almost the same as not being able to play anything. At this point you can already imagine how frustrating this was for me.
Upon searching the internet for the possible solutions, I've tried to perform some tests myself, like disabling my firewall and antivirus for a while (no luck). I've found out that the issue doesn't appear if I delete my rekordbox database (%APPDATA%\Roaming\Pioneer\rekordbox\datafile.edb). If rekordbox doesn't find a database ("Library") and creates an empty one, I can easily add and play whatever I want. After I import the database back to rekordbox, the error appears again.
I've tried to backup and restore my database using the rekordbox menu with no results whatsoever.
So, the issue narrows down to my database being corrupted somehow.
Please advise on how to repair my database, as I'm definitely not willing to create a new database and manually add hundreds of tracks, playlists and cue points again.
I'd also like to mention that yesterday was the last day of my rekordbox trial, so if you'd like me to test any of your solutions, you should either extend my rekordbox trial or activate rekordbox for me. Under any circumstances I won't pay for the product that makes me unable to take advantage of my own work. Especially considering the amount of money I've already spent on your flagship product (CDJs). This app should be free for those who buy your most expensive player, and I was very disappointed when it started to remind me about payments. Please advise on this as well.
Looking forward to getting a reply from you.
