RB re-analysises tracks before export to USB?

Hi all

When exporting already analysed tracks to a number of USBs/drives it was really slow. Upon inspection I noticed that it was re-analysing every track before putting it onto the USB despite these tracks already being analysed?

Can anyone explain why this is doing this, it never used to before?

I would delete the USBANAYLZ folder which contains all the waveform data BUT then I would also lose all my cue points (which I use on a lot of my tracks)

Is there a way to save all the CUE points but delete all the waveform data? I know these are both separate as you don't lose CUE points when re analysing tracks - does that make sense?

A solution I had in mind but haven't tried yet is backing up my library (not the tracks) and then using that backup as a fresh start BUT then would this issue still occur because the backup is just a copy of my current database where this issue is happening.

Thoughts welcome - thanks - I'd rather not look at every CUE point I've ever set, write them down, export every playlist as m3u bring them back into RB etc etc

Thanks

@Ryan > Is it possible that those are tracks that were imported to rekordbox / analysed with an old version of the software?

I am unsure to be honest, but if the answer was yes, can you tell me why you asked and explain please? Thanks so much for the fast reply

There was an update to the analysis to include RGB waveforms (I believe it was 5.2?), and it could be that rekordbox identifies and re-analyses those tracks prior to export.

I see, recently I did re-analyse all of my files as I moved to a different computer copying the database over etc - so perhaps the versions that I moved from were different and that's why?

Is the solution to this just re-analysing all the files in my RB library? or just letting it take ages to reexport the one time when it's going onto the USB and then in the future when moving THOSE TRACKS to USB it's fine?

If however after this ^ and it's still re-analysing them before putting on the USB what is the problem/solution to this do you know?

Sorry for all the Qs I just want to make sure all bases are covered if the first solution doesn't work!

Once you're up to the current analysis, it shouldn't re-analyse them again. Have you tried exporting those tracks again since that happened?
