Official comment
You can use POST FADER with DJM-900NXS2, just open Preferences > Controller > Effect > BeatFX to use SEND/RETURN.

post / pre fader beat FX DJM-900NXS 2
Hello Guys,
I have a 900NXS2 mixer which recently acts differently with regards to the beat FX.
I used to hear the effects fade out even when the channel fader was completely down.
Recently this has changed and when put down the channel fader the beat FX are not hearable.
Unfortunately I can't find anything on this topic, but it seems that beat FX has changed between pre and post fader.
Can anyone help me please?
