@james > The needles / cartridges used shouldn't play a factor as to whether or not rekordbox will read it - there's a chance they're not connected properly to the tonearm. Please check that first.

I have a set of ortofon needles that dont work with the mixer or the rekordbox. I will play at have speed the other one wont play at all they both play vinyl fine so i have a old technic cartridge and it work any ideas why the better needles don't work

Yeah I went online for advice it was my tonearm they needed cleaning thanks for the response
