I use rekordbox dj and I recently bought rekordbox video. I really love to use videos in my set, but I think there are too few options to really vjay. I had the idea to add a button to rekordbox video and when you press this button, rekordbox video takes a new video from a certain folder during a song. You could use this button when there is a drop and then you can also add a drop to the video. Often I want a slower video during the break and then a quicker video on the drop, which creates a build-up in your videos within a song. I also wondered if you could link video fxs to your audio fxs or that you could midi it to a button. I have a Pioneer ddj sx and I don’t have a monitor to use touch effects. For example, I would like strobe fx on 1 of my fx's dial. With this, a blinking effect can be accelerated to the drop and on the drop other fx can be pressed with, for example, the touchpads. This would make rekordbox much more professional, because now you can only play videos with text there.
I would love to hear your reaction and hope very much that you will integrate this into your program.

@Natan > There is no ability for rekordbox to switch videos part way through playback, but within the preferences you can set it so a video is loaded from a folder automatically when you load audio-only content to a deck while playing video:
The touch-FX can be MIDI mapped (and you can control them from an unused knob on your DDJ-SX).

Given that it's a very specific use-case, and you're the first to ever mention it, no - I don't see it being considered for implementation, sorry.
