Because this has been asked a few times, I created a guide to understanding which fields are ready by rekordbox based on the type of file being imported.

mp3 Tag writing
I updated a genre tag in rekordbox.
Then I imported the track in itunes, but still the old genre was there.
How can I make sure changed tags are written into the file itself so other programs can read it?

Ouch, FLAC might not be the greatest format if you want to R/W a lot of tags.

WAV was the worst of the bunch, AIFF and MP3 were virtually identical at the top.
