RX2 n'apparait pas dans les préférences audio

bonjour,

yes i found your special note on this point so i've uninstalled and reinstalled the driver, and allowed it in security this time and now it works !

Now i have 2 additional questions sorry... :

- the performance mode works but it's not fluent ; a bit better when i rise up the buffer size. Can i do something for this ? Though my mac is clean and with 16 Mo of RAM. By the way, in performance mode, you can't make live auto loops with beatloop pads(comparaed to export mode) !

- when i want to run itunes with the RX2 master out in mac preferences, the sounds is awful with a big delay. Is there anyway to switch easily from itunes to rekordbox withouh this troubleshootings ??

thanks !

Glad you got the drivers working!

You can do beat-loops with the pads, you just have to press SHIFT+SLIP LOOP; this makes it consistent with the DDJ line of products. See the hardware map here.

As for the performance, the audio buffer should always be set to the lowest possible value where no audio errors occur. This value will be different for every computer, so there's no saying "128 will work for you." Just use whatever is the lowest setting without any hiccups or skipping when effects are engaged.

The RX2 is not intended as a general audio interface for your computer, but you can certainly configure it as the primary output for the system audio. You may encounter other issues making it less than convenient, but again, this is not the intended purpose of the RX2.
