Played tracks do not turn green

Hi there, tracks that are loaded on a deck are green, but go back to white when another track is loaded onto that deck, even if they are played for over a minute.

I am using rekordbox performance with a ddj 1000 off a USB library. The issue persists with a local library also.

What am I missing?

Yes, a track must be played for 1 minute to be registered as "played" in the history.

Tracks played from an external USB device (call it a "guest" device) are not registered in the local history because they won't be able to be located once the drive is removed. The suggestion has been passed along to log it to the device's history so then you could take that drive back to its home library and import the history, but we don't yet have a timeline for its implementation.

I worked it out, the played tracks feature (and related key for that matter) only works for the collection & playlists on the computer you're using rekordbox, not within the device because export devices aren't completely compatible with performance mode(?????).

That's ridiculous. So now every new song which I usually browse and download on my home pc, I have to transfer to my export device, plug into the laptop, then manually update the collection and EACH playlist I added it to.

What the f*ck.

Not plug and play like Serato like I was expecting where your library works everywhere seamlessly.

Also, why on earth is it not, if I load the track and turn up the volume, it is played. I have to play it for a whole minute just for it to register? The DDJ 1000 ALREADY has on-air detection on the displays!

Hello! Is there any ETA on this feature since ? I've been facing with this problem too and at first I thought it is user error, but it seems not. This feature should be priority!

Sorry, again - tracks played from a "guest" device are not logged to the history of rekordbox. I know this was brought up as a suggestion, but it's not a high priority fix. Thanks for your patience.
