We're here to answer general questions, but anything that may require more direct communication (eg. technical issues with rekordbox), we direct to tickets as that will allow our support team to escalate the conversation to direct communication with our engineers. The reason we don't have our engineers on the forums is there are simply too many posts which don't require their attention, and it would be a waste of their time to be providing customer service instead of working as engineers. With a ticket, we can call on them as requested.
Another reason we direct users to tickets is the possible need to exchange files and other personal information, eg. license data.
But we're certainly able to answer many questions here in the forums.
