It sounds like, in both cases, that there is a loose connection, or possibly a bad solder joint on one or both of those terminals. I'd recommend having the unit serviced where they could inspect and/or repair as needed.
Dear Pioneer forums community, I am trying to figure out a solution to two issues with my XDJ-RX1.
1. The RCA master output appears to only work if the plugs are positioned in a particular way. It is unreliable and require restraining or adjusting when weight shifts and the cord moves at all.
2. The 8mm head phone port only reliably sends signal to one of the sides of the headphone during precue listening. The other side only works if the plug is positioned in particular ways, but way more sensitive than issue 1 to shifts in the cord. -I know I could get a headphone converter and just use the 1/4 inch connection, but I'm hoping to fix this instead.
To anyone who might know what the problem is, or possible solutions, and is willing to help with their information: thank you for your time!
