As for the control, have you pressed the MIDI button for each deck (left and right)?
I have just bought an XDJ Aero. Is there anyway I can connect my laptop (either USB or through Wi-Fi), for it to show me the beat grid's ect and for me to therefore use this as a controller? When i connect through Midi function, it shows the beat grid's, however, you can't use this as a controller. You can use the effects and control the bass ect on the left hand deck but the right hand deck, doesn't work?

Thanks for coming back. Yes, midi control for each deck has been pressed. It seems like I have full functionality on the left deck but not the right deck. On the right deck, I will have track playing but the volume is all the way down and it still playing fully. And EQ’s aren’t responding.
Specifically looking to use it with rekordbox. Just want to be able to see either songs beat pattern and use the controller as normal.
Is it that the controls aren't working or the audio isn't being manipulated because of how the audio is routed? Have you checked the audio configuration within the rekordbox preferences -- post a screenshot of that.
Also, to verify that the unit is controlling the software properly, open the MIXER panel within rekordbox (tick the box at the top of the screen) and you should see the EQ knobs moving around when you turn them on CH2 of the AERO.
