Limit the number of decks a DDJ-RX "occupies" in Pro DJ Link ?

Hi,

I have been using a DDJ-RX for some time now and recently got a CDJ-2000NXS2 to be able to train on the "other" hardware.

However when i tried to connect all to Pro DJ Link, it turned out, that the DDJ registered as 4 Decks, and therefore the CDJ "didn't have room" anymore.

Is there a way to connect more than 4 devices or limit the amount of devices slots the DDJ "occupies" ?

Thanks,

RB.

You absolutely can. When you press the LINK button on the CDJ, you select the MIDI control and then select which deck you want to use. The DDJ will remain as the audio interface, and you just use deck 3 or 4 for the CDJ, so the internal channels match the DDJ itself.

Hi,

tried that, but unfortunately that doesnt work. The DDJ-RX is a 4 Deck controller and registers all 4 Decks, so the CDJ doenst have room anymore, since Pro DJ Link seems to be limited to 4 player devices...
