Have my DDJ-1000 for some months now and I am extremely happy with it. Unfortunately there is an issue with the jog wheels and the hot pads. For some reason, while I'm mixing, the waveform in the jog wheels get lost and the hot pads turn into one colour, even though I got specific colours for them. I can just fix it by loading a new track (the waveform is back again) and press every hot pad (the normal colour appears again). Not a big deal, but quite annoying for that amount of money.

Hi there i tried something and i thing its working i have connected the controller with the usb B port to my mac and now its gone since one month ...please pioneer Team check it out if there are controller with an usb port issue !!!!!!!!
I did try so a long time ago but the same issue came up, i just started to think that no one is even taking care of this, they just stopped replying, and no update has been given, so the "Engineers" are doing nothing i believe, just like we paid a few bucks for the equipment, it is really sad we get this customer service (if this can be called a "service")

So, it has been quite some time and I just wanted to share some information with you. My described problem has happened again. I use a Macbook Pro 2013 with Mojave 10.14.6 and Rekordbox 5.8.2.
Here comes the interesting part: For a project, I tried to stream my music. So I started a stream on Twitch with OBS and used my DDJ-1000. You can imagine, how my Mac was at his limit. CPU was really high and after some time, the waveforms of the tracks wouldn't load as quick as they should do and the problem with the hot pads appeared again.
Normally it doesn't happen, but maybe when the CPU of the used PCs are too high 🤷🏼♂️

I'm having the same issue with my DDJ-1000. All my hot pads randomly change to a single colour until I tap on them. I just bought the controller last week.
Rekordbox version: 6.0.4 rev. 19651-17796-17457
DDJ-1000 FW: 1.07
OS: MacOS Catalina 10.15.6
Laptop: MacBook Pro 13-inch 2019
Config: 2.4Ghz Quad-Core Core i5, 8GB ram
Also, I'm not using any USB hubs. Though, I'm just using a single wire USB-A to USB-C converter as the laptop only has Type-C ports.

Brand-new DDJ-1000. Latest version of Rekordbox. Same issue, in addition to the wobbly/"bubbly-sounding" scratch issue mentioned in several other threads (I'm not alone).
Windows 7, 64-bit. SP1. Or Windows 10 (latest updates). Same issue.
Dell Precision M4600, 32GB ram. 2.4ghz, quad-core i7 (2nd gen). SSD hard drive. Disabled the BIOS stuff as requested in other threads (C-States, etc). Tried with and without.
Firmware is current (1.07). Driver is correct (1.10).
Waveforms disappear randomly, and the hot cue pads change color. The last-touched hotcue changes to a lighter purple color and the other ones go dim purple (When they were green before).
Proof of the wobbly-sounding scratch issue... tested on three different DDJs:

Guys, can we have any sort of update about this and the wobbly/bubbly/"phlegm-sounding" scratch issues? It drives my crazy. Love the DDJ-1000 otherwise, but these issues are massive and widespread.
