If the line-inputs worked properly, is it possible that your computer was what was overheating?
Hello everyone,
this weekend I played at a very warm and not well air-conditioned venue. I had it a few times over the whole weekend, that the sound first stutters and then completely stops. On the second day there also was a small fan at the booth, that should cool down the equipment. The system runs a bit longer than the day before but stopped as well. Afterwards in the evening at the hotel it went smoothly like before. The line-thru function worked a 100% all the time (i switched to USB).
Could there be a persistant damage at the soundcard after this first very hot day or is this a normal procedure of the DJM when it is too hot?

The prep-mode with a disconnected S9 worked out pretty good. Also any other applications ran relatively smooth...
