Which version of the OS are you running, and have you tried changing the graphics settings in the rekordbox preferences from HIGH to MEDIUM?

Rekordbox 5.5 & 5.6 GUI Update Not Working
After a lot of testing, I realized Pioneer must. have done some updates to the graphical user interface which has rendered Rekordbox useless on my Macbook Pro 15" Retina Late 2016.
I'm not sure if it's my graphics card
Radeon Pro 460 4096 MB
Intel HD Graphics 530 1536 MB
but Rekordbox just won't run.. .It freezes visually.. I can load tracks and press play, I hear music but the screen freezes, like it won't render the graphics.
Funny enough is I can run Resolume with 5 layers perfectly fine.
I don't get it.
I have a 2.9 Ghz I7 Quad Core with 16 GBs or Ram.
Something must be terribly wrong in the coding.

Did you ever resolve this? My rekordbox straight up hangs when I try to close it etc. and the tracks don't visually load on the decks even though they play

I have the same issue. Pulse I opened a ticket so I'd like to know what's happening.
