DDJ-400 Headphone sound stops working after a couple minutes

I got the exact problem too, same spec same problems

What is your audio buffer size set to?

256 samples

Try doubling that to 512 and see if the issue still occurs. Failing that, try a different USB cable or USB port.

I've tried different ports and double the buffer size but i have the same issue. I don't have another USB cable so I can't try that.

It always happens within 5 minutes I'm not sure why.

Do you have access to another computer to try it with?

Okay I tried on my Windows Desktop and did not have the issue.

Still I want to use my Macbook as its portable.

Any recommendations on how to get it working? Do you think updating my OS would work?

@eric, i had a problem with usbs and all i did was delete everything that was rekordbox related. there was a post somewhere an admin gave tips how to back up your files, just in case

i have a similar issue.

I bought the DJ-400 in September2019 and it has never been stable. DJ400 gets blocked after some time.

After a few minutes the audio from the DJ400 stops. And sometimes the buttons stop working as well.

Rekordbox still continues working and you can listen the music through the laptop.

If you unplug the DJ400 and replug again, it resets and you can continue... for again a few minutes.

Using OSX Mojave10.14.6. McBook Pro. 2.7Ghz Intel Core i5. 8GB. DDJ400 firmware 1.01

I'm having the exact same problem as alfonso perez above, any clue on how to fix it?

Rekordbox: 6.0.4

During my first couple of weeks the DDJ-400 used to work just fine. After that, the same issue started to happen (audio cue stops on headphone). 
I've tried going as far as setting the buffer size to 1024...

Same issue. Brand new DDJ 400 on 10.13.6 with a fresh install of Rekordbox 6.4.1 

Works ok for a couple of minutes/seconds and then CUE audio suddenly stops working and rekordbox must be restarted.

Same issue with Rekordbox 5.8.5

Hi, I too am having the same issue with same specs - I bought the DDJ-400 in May'22, and am using this with below specs, which are same as the above:

Mac OS High Sierra 10.13.6, 13-inch, 2017

Processor 1.8 Ghz Intel core i5

Memory 8 GB 1600 MHz DDR3

Rekordbox 6.6.8

Having this issue since I bought the controller and started using this on my Mac - Couple of minutes after the controller is plugged in, and I start playing, the headphone sound goes off and the master cue buttons and channel headphone cue buttons don't light up and stop working, even after trying to turn them on through Rekordbox.

Also, whenever this happens, the lights between EQs also freeze - while the song keeps playing. The FX On/OFF button too stops being lit up during this.

Have to unplug and plug in the USB again to clear this out everytime.

This is fairly hampering my practice - I have tried all the above suggestions and even showed this to Pioneer Service Centre (who couldn't find an issue with the controller and suggested incompatibility), where it worked smoothly on other Windows PC without any issues and the cable and headphones too worked well. Have even put in appropriate settings for Output for Headphones in Rekordbox.

Please help!!!!
