Apologies if this has already been asked. I did have a bit of a look but couldn't find anything suitable.
I am experiencing ongoing issues with Rekordbox DJ performance mode across different Mac machines and controllers. Issues are the usual software lag, tempo control being unresponsive at times, trim control being unresponsive at times, loads of Mac "colour whirly wheel action" on the app, etc. (Mac optimised, well above min. spec and free of viruses, malware, use really high quality USB cables, etc.).
I've yet to try a clean install of the app so was wondering what the process was exactly. I understand it's not as simple as a drag and drop into trash from the Applications folder as you also need to dip into the library to kill a few things after.
I am mainly concerned with keeping my cue points, loops etc., so what I'm after is:
1. A clear, step by step guide to correctly uninstalling the current version Rekordbox on Mac
2. Ensuring that I save the necessary files before the uninstall that contain cue, loop, analysis data of tracks and a guide on how to send this info back into the cleanly-installed app.
Would really appreciate if anyone can chime in on this for me.
