USB issues

Hi all,

Should there be any issue formatting a 128gb 3.0 Lexar Jumpdrive in Mac HFS+ with a CDJ 2000?  I tried all kinds of hacked ways to format the large disk in FAT32 as I didn't know HFS+ was apparently compatible, but when I finally did get the drive loaded (formatted in HFS+), it has not been performing properly.  It loads the tracks ok in RB, but becomes very unstable and often freezes when I plug it into the CDJ 2000.

Is it the format of the drive, the drive itself, or the fact that I did a lot of format and re-formats making the disk itself unstable.

Thanks

No hacking required to get a 128GB drive to FAT32, but yes, you can use HFS+.

If it's not reading on your CDJ, it could be the drive itself is the problem.

FAT32 will only format up to 32GB.  What am I missing to get it to see all 128GB of the drive that I have without special utilities that haven't proven to be very successful?

I'm going to return the drive that I bought and try a Scandisk model, format in OSX HFS+.  Hopefully I'll have better luck.
