Pioneer XDJ RX2 - DVS Question

Hi,

I know the xdj rx2 does not have inbuilt DVS capabilities but I'm wondering if the following scenario would work. As the RX2 can work as an external mixer, could I connect 2 turntables to the inputs of a DVS soundcard like the Pioneer Interface 2 and the outputs of the soundcard to the RX2 mixer. If I connect the RX2 by usb to a laptop to control rekordbox DJ in performance mode to control hot cues etc in relative mode, will the full waveforms display on the RX2 as it would while running rekordbox dj normally in performance mode without DVS?

I've just stumbled across this....

 

Is there a more detailed explanation of how this is working?

 

I had both the RX2 & IF2 but abandoned the DVS set up because it was extremely clunky

@Raymond > No, sorry - these two products are not intended for use together; my work-around is just that ... a work-around.

hey how did you get this working ive been trying for awhile can get in linked up and working but no sound levels or sound at all
