Oh, never mind. After I opened this topic, I found this one (https://forums.pioneerdj.com/hc/en-us/community/posts/360045376071-Error-002-no-driver-audio-ddj-1000-windows). Following those steps worked perfectly for me. Having the controller connected to my PC while trying to install the drivers was the issue apparently. Thanks Pulse.

FollowDDJ-1000 driver installation error (002)
I can use Rekordbox through my DDJ-1000 on my Macbook Air, but wanted to try it out on my Microsoft PC as well. The controller connects to my PC through the USB cable and the setting do recognize the DDJ-1000. The firmware update was downloaded successfully, but the DDJ-1000 driver won't download for some reason and gives error code 002 as the reason. In my PC settings, it says that the DDJ-1000 is recognized but that the driver is not available. I tried to download the drivers from both the Pioneer website and from inside Rekordbox. Both ways provide the same error code, even if I try to run it as the administrator. Can someone figure out what I'm doing wrong, please?
