DDJ-1000 sound distortion when laptop is charging

I have looked through all the threads and cannot fix my DDJ-1000 sound output problems when my laptop is charging there is a lot of distortion and crackling sounds but when i unplug it from power it works just fine. i am not sure what else i could do to fix this issue i have disabled Intel turbo boost and played with the latency settings in Rekordbox but its not working. My computer should be able to handle Rekordbox just fine its a:

LENOVO IDEAPAD FLEX6-14IKB SIGNATURE EDITION with a INTEL CORE i7-8550U CPU @1.80GHZ -1.99GHZ and it has 8GB DDR4 RAM and an NVIDIA GEFORCE GRAPHICS CARD.

Running Windows 10 version 1803 and the latest Rekordbox firmware 5.6.0

@Elias > If it only ever happens with the charger connected, then that indicates there's poor isolation on the motherboard between the charging circuitry and the other circuitry (processing / USB), resulting in interference. You may try using a USB isolation transformer, but some people find them a bit expensive for the need.

Having the same issue...raised a ticket but still waiting for a reply. Have followed the links in this issue and made the changes but I still have the issue. I’ve had my DDJ-1000 from jan 19...all worked well with not sound issues at all and then suddenly 3 or 4 months ago i started to get the distortion issues. I’ve not changed my laptop or leads or anything else, so at a loss to understand what has happened? Can anyone help!!??!?

Hi everyone, I had the above issue and was able to resolve is by applying the same general strategy as listed in this post: https://forums.pioneerdj.com/hc/en-us/articles/360015455971-To-those-who-have-crackling-noise-when-using-DDJ-1000-with-rekordbox-dj

HOWEVER - I had to take maximum processor state all the way down to 75% to fully eliminate crackling.

I think this can be explained by the fact that I have a top of the line Razor gaming laptop with an intel i7.

What I ended up doing is creating a specific power plan in windows called "DJ Plugged in" with this setting applied since obviously I don't want to have my processor permanently capped to 75% of it's potential.
