XDJ-RX2 Freeze/Crash

Good evening! 😊
Today, after almost a year of owning the XDJ-RX2, it gave me a big problem during an aperitif, as soon as I pressed the "browse" button, or I shot in the library (now it does even with a simple track that runs) the console is is impallata (as it does in the photo), nothing to do, all completely blocked, including the audio, crash, ommeglio freeze / glitch torale, the only method to turn it back on, after half an hour it has done me again 😩
Excluding a few things I came to the fact that they could be the outdated signatureware, which I update as soon as I get home (I really forgot about it) in combination with humidity, given that the place is very wet and the console is not covered, but considering that I played there 5 more times and never did it, I just think that they can be the signing together with the humidity factor.
(I have been using hard drives for 6 months and that's fine)
What do you think about it?

It's possible that there was an issue with overheating, but it's also possible the USB drive itself was the cause. Please try testing it with a different USB drive (if you're in the similar heat / humidity), or try using a fan to help cool the unit.

Hello everyone

I had a similar problem, during my dj set, in front of the public, with my XDJ-RX2 ( June 2018, FW 1.31.)

During my DJ set, with 2 USBs, the console was completely frezzed, after loading a track in Deck 1, it did not respond to any commands, it did not emit any sound, the leds were steady, deck 1 was fixed on BEAT JUMP, the microphone was inoperable.

I had to unplug the power cable to re-start, because the POWER BUTTON did not respond to the shutdown command.

the Firmware installed is 1.31, but could it all be linked only to the firmware?

Thanks

@pablo > The issue was likely that there was a buffer overrun meaning the unit froze up and couldn't clear the buffer to soft-power-down. I would first recommend trying a higher quality USB drive to see if you have the same problems again.

I state to use a 32 GB (USB 3.0 SCANDISK) or 16 GB (USB 3.0 SCANDISK) PEN DRIVE

i don't understand why i should try other USB DRIVE?

Can't read a Console LOG File to locate the error?

How could it go into Buffer Overrun?

Thanks

I'm worried
