I've been thinking about getting the S9 but would like to read up on how it connects to Rekordbox and the features available.
Is there a user manual knocking about that specifically references use with Rekordbox DJ?
The main thing I want to know is, if I'm also using it with a DDJ-XP1, are the pad FX post fader? I was bitterly disappointed that with DJM-450 they weren't, and have been subsequently told that pad FX are not post fader with any DJM - is this still true for the S9?
No - because the FX are applied before the audio is sent to the mixer (it works in EXTERNAL MIXER mode), they are thus pre-fader. Sorry.

Basically - this is what I'm after...
I would like a mixer / controller that is able to be used in internal mode, however, I have no need for the jogs as I like to use turntables with DVS ( I had the DDJ-1000 but it took up a lot of real estate with bits I didn't use).
Only way I can see getting round my issue is getting the S9 (or similar) but then also getting an additional Audio Interface to route the audio direct from the iMac and use the mixer as a midi controller - quite the Frankenstein of set ups!
Any other ideas?
