DDJ-1000 crackling issues, anyone found a solution/fix? (OS X)
As threads about this keep getting closed i had to open a new one.
Have any of you who had crackling issues with the ddj-1000 on Mac found a solution? i'm still in the return window so i'm a bit on the fence if i keep my unit or return it as defective.
none of the so far suggested solutions (that i was able to dig out here) did work, so i guess there is a problem on the hardware level. those crackling and pops e.g. are common with amps that have defective transistors, maybe there are just cheap components in the amp circuitry crapping out.
but i'm still open to try suggestions from ppl who found a fix, if there is any...

I opened a ticket through support about 2 weeks ago and have been back and forth and I have been trying all of the solutions they gave and as of yet nothing has worked and now they have stopped answering me and also closed my last post so I can’t even comment on it no more. There is a fault with the firmware that needs addressing. I have tried on 4 separate macs with the same outcome popping and crackling. Never had this issue before especially running on high spec macs. Can someone at pioneer please get this resolved and looked in to as this seems to be a quite common issue.

Do you have also windows installed on any of these macbooks? That‘s the one last thing i have to try, if there are the same symptoms...

Tried the turning the turbo boost off with the suggested app and it made no difference at all. Tried this on 2 separate macs with the same outcome. Surely you guys must know what’s up ? I’ve joined a group on Facebook and there are loads of people with the same issue on macs so this is not an isolated issue and also the fact that I have tried everything on 4 separate macs with the same popping and cracking.
