Xdj-xz Freez 3 times in one night

I've bought xdi-xz 3 weeks ago. I've tested in studio without having problem since now, tonite during my first set with xz it Freez three times: completely blackout, the sound stopped and xz remain with the lights on olso after pushing power button. I had to disconnect cable. I was working with an external hd sanddisc extreme pro ssd 500 gb with 60 gb of music inside that was been synced with rekordbox on my Mac. There was also a 128gb sands connected on usb2 that I wasn't using. Tonite I have to get back to ddi-1000 because I can't work seriously with this problems. xdi-xz is too young? It need firmware future update to work correctly? I notice that drive formatted in journaled (in supported list) workin on cdi-2000, Rx2 an Olso on Rx-1 can be read from xz... I had to format in fat32. How can be possible that rx can read and xz no?

a dj friend of mine have the same Freez issue with xz last week for 2 times, so I thought to wait till now. Then I had not had this problem in studio so I decide....

Plese help me

Can't help... but I too had way too many issues with the XDJ-XZ, so this was me last message to Pioneer support:

"...the XDJ-XZ device & RB are simply not up to scratch (I'm doing what feels like beta testing here for a fairly expensive product you guys released to the market way too early, firmware as well as RB software version wise...), I'm returning it next week and will ask for a refund."

As well as "seeing the d*ckmoves Pioneer is pulling off - i.e. 'product segmentation for higher-tier markets' being the reason for no flac support for the XDJ-XZ..."

All of this is not a good look, and this will stick for a while and I'll think thrice before touching another Pioneer product...let alone purchasing one.

Any update on this? Getting a little worried seeing some early adopter issues with the XDJ-XZ. I have mine on pre-order and considering canceling..

Same problem here tonight, played a gig in front of 1500, suddenly the XZ freezes totally, no sound, and no reaction when I power off, alt lights still on, had to plug og the mains, and start it up fresh.

How can this be happening? I need to trust my equipment, this is no good pioneer.

Hi I had the same exact problem, but after some tries I got it to work. I uninstalled the driver. restarted computer. then i started the rzx waited until it had installed it self in the computer. then i started rekordbox.

I also noticed if i used older versions of rekordbox then 5.8.1 the driver did not work.

My problem now is that already 3 times in practice at home the rekordbox has freezed and not respond.
