I've had the same on one occasion. Seemed fine once I loaded the next track though.

DDJ-1000 Pad Colors - All Purple, intermittently | Deck displays go minimal
Title says it!
Firmware 1.07 | Rekordbox 5.8.0 | High Sierra 10.13.4
The pads on my DDJ-1000 will all lose their assigned colors, mid-song, and just all be purple. I load a new track, the colors are there. Also, the deck display loses all the extra stuff at the same time, the waveform, the art all disappear. Pics show the situation.

Hello, the same thing happened to me when I updated the firmware, restart the computer and the DDJ, turn on the DDJ 1000 and wait for the cogwheels of each display of the jogs to stop turning, do this before every time you turn on the DDJ, after Start the RekordboxDJ software, these steps helped me to solve this problem and it has never happened to me again, I feel my poor English quality I have had to use google translator to write this.

I have the same issue. Several times... sometimes moving the tempo, other using the slicer in the pads, beat jump, etc.
