XDJ700 PRO DJ LINK + MAC BOOK

Ciao

I'm newby trying to connect my xdj700 to Mac Book Pro to use rekordbox in export mode.

Mixer is not Pioneer

it's wrong to connect the players to the Mac by Usb cables?

Do I always need to connect both ethernet cables from players to an external switch? then an ethernet cable from switch to the Mac?

Thank you

Unfortunately the XDJ-700's don't have the USB-Link function to bridge the ProDJ Link so you'll need to use an ethernet adapter for that. USB would be used only for using them as controllers with rekordbox in Performance mode.

Thank you!
So for using it in export mode I need
2 ethernet cables from player to an external switch then another ethernet cable from switch to my Mac
Then I need to create agglomerate device audio....

Correct?

The 2 ethernet cables from players to switch are connected to the ethernet port I usually use to link them OR I need 2 adaptor from USB to ethernet?

If you're using them for EXPORT mode, you'll link them with the ethernet cables to a switch (as well as the computer), and there is no aggregate audio device required as the players connect to your mixer to deliver the audio.

If you're using them for PERFORMANCE mode, each player would connect via USB to the computer and then you can create an aggregate if your mixer is not the audio device.
