XDJ - 1000 Tempo and waveform reading issue

Hi all

Having a major issue with one of my XDJ 1000s.

After the deck has been on for a minute or so, and I've played a couple of tracks, the tempo and full waveform at the bottom won't load properly when a new track is loaded. The tempo displays constantly as 0.00 and the play head does not track properly on the full waveform (at the bottom), the actual functionally however, seems unaffected, and playback and the tempo slider seems to work fine, it's only the visuals that have the issue. It should be noted that all tracks are fully analysed and synced within Rekordbox and up until a few days ago I had not experienced this problem. This issue repeats whenever I turn the deck on and off.

I have tried loading tracks off of a secondary USB to see if this could be the issue and have tried loading tracks in 'link' mode with the USB in the other decks, however the problem occurs exactly the same. This issue is not apparent on either of the other two decks (both also XDJ - 1000s), also, I have made sure I am on the latest firmware, 1.13. This makes me think there is some internal software issue on the one specific deck experiencing the problem

Please if anyone has experienced this problem, or knows of a fix, let me know.

Thanks

Mitchell Hughes

I don't think I've heard this one before... have you tried re-flashing the firmware to see if that resets it?

As in re-updating it? I had tried this, and it looked as though it may have worked, but shortly after the same issue reoccurred.

I was wondering if there was a way to factory reset the deck, that might fix it, but it appears as if this can't be done.
