For starters, you can't export to the same USB drive from two rekordbox collections - much like an iPhone can only be sync'd with one computer.
Use one computer to manage the music, it will be much less of a headache.
i have 2 questions about exporting to a usb. I will first lay out my setup as i am one of those who would like to use rekordbox with minimum effort regarding format, tags, playlists creation etc.
Using PC no.1 to import music files (after conversion) to rekordbox and then export them (as big playlists) to a USB stick.
Then, using pc no.2 I import these big playlists from the USB stick to create further playlist and have them exported to different or the same USB stick.
Now, when i update the large playlists and export them again will it create duplicates on the USB?
Further, on the 2nd pc's rekordbox i see duplicate files with numbered path files. Is this how it will be everytime i update the exported playlists?
Space is scarce and so are money.
Both PC's use version 5.8.3.
Do not know if its relevant but the updated exported playlists are so-called intelligent using the KEY

If you are changing file name or path, rekordbox will treat it as a separate file. In that case you may get duplicates.
Not sure exactly how you import the USB on the 2nd PC. If you import with the file path of the USB and have a track added to another playlist and export it should not create a duplicate. But if you import it from the USB to a drive in PC 2 and keep it on the USB as well, you will get a duplicate on the USB when updating the playlist there.
Can you maybe explain a bit more in deep what you try to achieve? Not sure why you want to manage your Music on 2 different PC's and not just on 1.
I got as well 2 PC holding my Library and both PC's are in sync. The way I do that is as follows. I am managing the Library on one PC. The Music files are all on this PC. On a regular basis I am backing up the Library with the rekordbox backup function. (but don't include the music files as I got too many...). The music files are synchronised with the 2nd PC. I restore the Library backup from PC 1 on PC 2 and do a mass relocation on PC 2 as the file location is slightly different.
Exporting to the USB I only do from the main PC (1)
