The DDJ-400 doesn't require drivers, it uses standard audio protocols to communicate with the computer.
What software were you using at the time? Did you check the output audio configuration? Did you still have audio to the headphones for cueing?
On a job I suddenly got trouble getting sound from the line outputs on my DDJ-400. Had to use a a mini-jack cable and take the sound from the PC laptop instead. Never been a problem before. Happend after a Windows 10 update. Could the drivers be messed up (everything else works together with Rekordbox)? Will it help reinstalling the DDJ-400 drivers? Can they be downloaded from somewhere?

Haven't changed anything. Tried different cables.
Sound in headphones are OK. And sound from PC output OK.
Also checked configuration in Rekordbox
It could be that your computer isn't providing adequate power over the USB for the DDJ-400 to output audio; please try using a different USB port or even test with a different computer (and a different make / model if possible) to see if that resolves the issue.
Seems strange as I have used the same computer with the DDJ-400 since I got it without any problems. Everything else works as well. I'll try removing and reinstalling drivers to see if that will help (in case Windows Update has messed up something). Is there a driver for DDJ-400 for download somewhere? Or am I at the mercy of Microsoft here :-)
There are no drivers - it's entirely reliant on Windows audio systems. Have you tried going into the device manager and uninstalling the DDJ through that, disconnecting the USB, rebooting, then reconnecting?
