XDJ-XZ sync with DJS-1000

Hello,

Im Having problems when trying to sync the XDJ-XZ with my DJS-1000, the XDJ is playing from rekordbox as source and the DJ Pro Link cable is connected.

I use an RB-DMX1, so using the xdj as standalone is not the best solution

Hope I can get some support on this

@Marcelo > I think you have the situation confused a bit -- if you're needing to use the RB-DMX1, you have to use rekordbox in EXPORT mode, meaning you can't use Pro DJ Link; you have to connect via USB to control rekordbox in PERFORMANCE mode.

Unfortunately, neither the DJS-1000 nor rekordbox performance mode are currently configured to work together, regardless of the XDJ-XZ. Your only option at this time would be to use the XZ with rekordbox in PERFORMANCE mode and the DJS-1000 without any sync, or use the combo in EXPORT mode and not use the RB-DMX1.

Thanks for the reply, i do understand what you say, what i dont understand is why the XDJ-XZ can't share the beatgrid information through the cable made for that.

in other posts related to the DJS-1000 the official statement is that rekordbox doesn't send beatgrid info through the usb, in this case, the XDJ already has that info and displays it on the screen, thus makes a perfect valid assumption that this information could be shared through the Pro DJ Link cable.

hope then you can consider this for further firmware updates.
