1) Ensure all tracks are available within rekordbox by going to File > Display All Missing Files, and relocate any missing.
2) Format your external drive, re-export playlists.
All my tracks are on my USB drive, stored in folders, analyzed and imported to my collection in playlists. I can play every track in the explorer or from the playlists in my collection without any problem.
After exporting these playlists to the same USB for use on CDJ's some files in one playlist became "missing". I can still play them in my collection and explorer, just not in the exported playlists on my USB and I have no idea why. I have reimported all these tracks, reanalyzed them, deleted the entire playlists in my collection. Reimported and reexported them. Nothing makes these tracks "found" again. The "display missing files" is just empty.

Alright I found the "issue". The tracks missing were in a folder originally called "hard drum". After some time I renamed the folder to "club - hard drum" and relocated all the files without any problem. Now it started giving me the prompt that they are missing without the option to relocate them. After opening the "summary" tab, I noticed that:
Why didn't it just copy over the meta data from the collection since that one was correct? Seems like a weird bug that should be fixed. Luckily I discovered that these tracks were missing in a studio session and not at the gig I'm having tonight
EDIT
I spoke too soon. Now the tracks that weren't originally in the "hard drum" folder but were added after the name change are missing. Jesus
rekordbox doesn't like usb or playlists with same name, try changing something
