Rekordbox not enough space error

I'm having a similar issue to the one described in this post:

https://forums.pioneerdj.com/hc/en-us/community/posts/360047659611-Not-enough-Space-on-USB-but-there-is-?input_string=Rekordbox%20not%20enough%20space%20error

However I'm using a new USB stick as my previous 16 gb one is now full, my new one is 32gb and won't sync anything from the sync manager, i get the same error message as described above. I've reformatted the stick and I know it's large enough for all my files but no playlists will sync, even ones with 5 songs in.

My playlists will only export to the stick if I right click on them from rekordbox and select export and then the USB stick, but not from sync manager.

Does that USB drive have a unique name that rekordbox has never seen before?

Sorry I'm not sure I understand, the USB stick is called NO NAME which I guess is the default name given to a USB stick reformatted in Disk Utility.

Right, but has there been another "NO NAME" device used with rekordbox before?

Reformat the drive and give it a new, unique name, then try the sync / export again.

Ok thanks for your help. I'll do that if the manual export of playlists doesn't work.
