Is the USB drive formatted to FAT32 with Master Boot Record (MBR), and the firmware update file unzipped and placed at the root directory?

XDJ XZ firmware update
So I'm trying to update the firmware on my XDJ XZ, I copied the update file into my USB, and when I put the XDJ XZ into update mode it doesn't detect my usb or doesn't change the "Connect USB storage device into top USB1 Port" when I put it into the USB1 Port, otherwise, my USB works when I use it to mix music but I can't update the software to version 1.10

I'm having the same issue. My USB is formatted to FAT, but I don't know about the MBR. How do I do that?

... Looked it up. Changed it to MBR and FAT 32, copied the unzipped file onto it, restarted the controller while pressing USB stop and reloop/exit, inserted usb into slot 1 and still nothing.
