DDJ 400 Audio setup with Rekordbox

Hi,

I've recently purchased a brand new DDJ-400 (along with Rekordbox).

I've used it already to mix, Rekordbox & the DDJ-400 work fine, it's great stuff !

But here's my settings :

As you can see, I do not detect my DDJ-400 in the Audio setting, only the speaker of my PC (and asio devises installed on my PC as well).

I don't understand why, and when I look for pilot, I quote from your website "ou don't have to install extra driver software.
Windows/mac OS standard audio driver will be automatically installed when DDJ-400 is connected to your Mac/PC with a USB cable."

I've also executed the last firmware udpate of Septembre 17th 2019 found on your webiste.

Is it painful because I can't seem to use both my speaker and my headphones through my DDJ-400.

Any advises ?

Thanks in advance !

Alex

What version of Windows are you using, and has it been fully updated with all the latest patches?

Does the DDJ-400 appear as a device within your Device Manager?

Hi, yes I do.

It’s registered as DDJ400 under « Audio, video and game controllers ».

Any idea ?

Is it possible you have the DDJ-400 selected as your main Windows audio device? If so, set the default output back to your Realtek device and then the DDJ-400 should be available within rekordbox.

Hi,

Thank you so much, I found it ! The ddj 400 was somehow desactivated in the audio device manager. Probably be default when I installed it...
I activated it and managed to find the right setup for me.

Thank youuuuuu ! I’ll mark the post as answered.
