Steaming OBS + DDJ 800 (Mac)

Anyone know how this works? I have literally tried everything. I have even tried the same steps with different controllers that have been provided. No luck. Please help!

Thanks for the updated instructions for the DDJ1000 and OBS.

I had it working for a few minutes of my stream the other day, then started getting a really weird echo and delay on the stream (headphones and speakers were fine).

Does anyone know what the issue could be? My initial thought is that the usb cord could have been loose and got slightly removed from the laptop but I'm not sure it would cause this behavior. I started a new stream which worked for another 25 mins before the same thing happened.

Here's the audio issue starting at about 3m50s https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5QTwlxPY3pk&feature=youtu.be

I just updated the firmware,drivers, and rekordbox a couple days before streaming too.

Appreciate the help

@Mike > That can happen when the audio device gets called in multiple instances. It's possible that there is a memory leak or one of your applications is trying to hog the audio. Check the audio buffer size within rekordbox, as well as ensuring that no other applications are using the the system audio.

@mike.

This happened to me as well. You need to make sure that you mute the platform you are streaming on. IE if you are streaming on FB Live, make sure you mute the live feed on your computer :)

Hopefully you caught it sooner than later lol. I went a full 2 hours of nothing but ECHOOOOOOOOES on a stream that I did.

^^ Exactly - what's happening there is because Blackhole is the output for your system audio, any other device trying to use that device as well can create a feedback loop as it hooks into the cycle. There are ways around this, but not free or easy.

Ah that totally makes sense. I'll give it another shot with the streams muted.

@Persuade - yup happened to me for 45 mins without knowing, then another hour on a new stream lol

Thanks for the help!
