RB-Noob: glitch on exiting loops (ddj-400)

Hi guys. Coming from Virtual DJ, I can't figure out what I am doing wrong here. I am setting up a loop, storing it into the memory cue, calling it, playing the loop. All works fine. But when I exit the loop it sometimes jumps to the beginning of the loop instead of cancelling the loop and moving on with the track. To exit the loop, I am hitting the RELOOP/EXIT button next to the loop in/out buttons. So I guess it's sometimes relooping and sometimes exiting the loop. Any ideas what I'm doing wrong here? Any hints would be much appreciated. :-D

It would only reloop when you press it the second time - the first time it acts as exit.

hej, thx for the quick reply :-)

i think the problem was: i had the sync function on, but my loop wasn't matching the beatgrid. so on exiting the loop, rekordbox tried to match the track to the sync master track on the other deck.

that would make sense imo... still getting the hang of the rb logic :-D

No worries! A bit of practice and play and you'll have it in no time.

I am having a similar problem. I set for instance an 8 beat loop but there is a slight 'glitch' or delay that no matter how close I get it doesn't loop properly. It only works occasionally exactly on the beat.  It throws off the mix. and I end up just canceling the loop entirely. Any ideas - I've used this without the SYNC button on.
