Record box interface 2

I’ve just bought an interface2 to use on my reloop turntables. I’ve set it up today and it’s working ok. My problem is my levels are sky high in the red?? Any tips would be grateful, easy the better as I’m not that PC savvy

Are you connecting the LINE outputs from the IF2 box into PHONO inputs on the mixer?

As long as there's no phono/line toggle on the back of that input and you're certain the setting is LINE, then the other thing to consider is that your channel gain/trim might be too high. Turn it down.

No there’s no toggle on that input,I’m having to turn everything down real low to stop it red lining.amp and main volume and trim/gain,if I mix to vinyl then that’s real quiet

It's normal for vinyl to have a lower input than a line level audio, and the need to adjust the gain on every song is also expected.

Yeah I know that as I’m coming from a controller to vinyl mixing, which seemed closer on the trim,it just seem there’s a huge difference from the control vinyl to standard vinyl a good 5/6 levels
