Hello,

I bought DDJ-400 one week ago and I play with it every day normally but today i try to load a track and it tells that there is load error. After that, i saw audio settings and audio had no audio device. I tried to choose ddj-400 wasapi but it doesn't load. Can you help me please?

Have you tried rebooting your computer and ensured that the DDJ-400 is not selected as Windows' default audio device?

Yes, I tried a lot of times but every time, while it seems that ddj-400 is connected and all buttons are operative i can't load any track and i can't load ddj-400 wasapi. I select that but it doesn't load.

I am having this issue as well, it says "no audio device" in the audio section of preferences and when I click on "DDJ 400 wasapi" nothing happens. I've rebooted several times and ensured that DDJ-400 isn't selected as windows' default audio device. Please advise.

I am just experiencing the exact same problem.  I'm using  Rekordbox 5.8.5. Issue occurred after I used external speakers and clicked 'off' the little computer icon.  Today, removing the external speaker jacks from the back of the DDJ and trying to get sound through the PC has resulted in problems.  I cannot choose DDJ-400 WASAPI from the list.  Every time I click on it it simply displays 'No audio device'.  I've updated EVERYTHING.  I can play music through the DDJ if I choose one of the other audio options, but I then cannot use the DDJ to mix as there is no sound through the headphone output on the DDJ.  For some reason Rekordbox will not allow me to choose DDJ 400 as my audio option in the Audio preferences.  Incredibly annoying as it means a whole day trying to fix this!!!

@Thimas > Did you verify that Windows doesn't have the DDJ-400 selected as its primary audio device? Open the Sound panel and check that your computer's audio interface is the default output.

I have the same problem. I've tried using my Behringer UM2 as primary output, which helped getting rid of the load error, but now I can't use my headphones for cueing. If this can be solved I guess I can bypass the problem.

EDIT: An older version of Asio4all did the trick. But still weird that I need a third party program to use a combination of two products from the same brand.

This is the exact issue I am encountering and do not know how to resolve. I have tried on both Rekordbox 5 & 6 and the option to select DDJ-400 WASAPI as the Audio setting: when DDJ-400 WASAPI is selected, it just defaults back to no audio input, not letting me select it. Please Advise.

Just helped my friend figure this out.

If you're on Windows and you can't select your DDJ-400 (and it goes straight to 'No audio device'), go into Device Manager, go through Audio inputs and outputs, Software devices and Sound, video and game controllers, and in each category remove the DDJ-400 entries.

Once you've done this, unplug the DDJ-400, reboot, and then plug the DDJ-400 back in again.
