Sorry, you'll need to rename the files within the Finder or they won't be matched in rekordbox.
So, without getting into it, some of my files got their extensions changed from aif to aiff (I say some, but it's around 2800).
When trying to relocate the missing files, Rekordbox is only looking at aif and there's no way for me to change it to aiff in the finder.
Is this a bug or intended functionality? Is there a workaround?

So, if anybody else runs into it I was able to fix my collection in basically two steps:
1. First, I used this batch file to identify songs that were in my collection folder but not in rekordbox:

2. Then I pasted that list into a UTF-8 text file and loaded it into this application

You can do this really easily with https://rekord.cloud
With the Bulk Editor you can just select all your files that end with ".aif" and change only them to ".aiff"
