DJM 300 - Master output

Hi,

I have a DJM 300 and wondered if the 2 master outs are for left and right speakers?

If so, what's the best method to record with no record out too?

thanks.

You would use one of the master outputs to speakers, the other for recording.

Ok thats great.

I have two HSM7 monitors.  Best to get a splitter then for one of the master outputs so i can connect them from RCA to XLR or 1/4 jack?

Also, i have a focusrite 8i6 soundcard.  How would i best connect that if possible to use via the speakers and sub i have please?

Do your speakers not have an output connection to link the sub?

Oh yes they do sorry.  So just need RCA to XLR to sub from master 1 then?

So you'd go master out (RCA) from the mixer, to the sub's XLR input, then from the sub to each of the speakers... assuming the sub has stereo inputs, otherwise you'd go to the speakers first and then to the sub from one of the speakers, but keep in mind this would result in a mono sub output.

Brilliant thanks.  Have order the RCA to XLR leads to connect Sub, which as you say i have 2 speakers connect to the sub.

Thanks for your help and speedy response.
